Founded in 1519, Havana is a city of sweeping boulevards. It is one of the great historical cities of the Western Hemisphere. At the begining of the 18th century it was the third largest city in the New World. Old Habana Vieja, was designated a "Heritage of Mankind Site" in 1982 by UNESCO and it only takes one visit to understand why this city is so loved.
