And here they are today, Quinteto Rebelde, as they played for us that afternoon in the Sierra Maestra mountains. We were able to purchase CDs of their famous songs from their days with Fidel at Comandancia La Plata in the Sierra Maestra Mountains.
Their music is still as stirring as it was then.
