Cuba - International Camp
After arriving in Habana at
Jose
Marti International Airport, we encountered an unexplained and lengthy
delay in clearing Cuban Customs. It was nearly midnight before we
made it out of the terminal and onto the comfortable air conditioned
autobuses that would transport us around the island for the next
weeks. Our first night's accommodations were at an international
camp not far from the city. After a late night snack at la
piragua we settled into the dormitories for our first night in Cuba.
