Bayamo - Gala Evening
On our first night in Bayamo we were invited to a gala event
hosted by the city in a grand old theatre in the heart of the
city. Prepared in our honour was a series of performances by
singers, dancers, musicians and orators. We felt that their
hearts were open and we were made to feel very welcome in their
city. At the end of the performance the Brigadistas were all
invited up on stage to dance with the performers.
