Celia Sanchez Museum

The sugar town of Media Luna is best known as the home of one of Cuba's best known women. Celia Sanchez became one of closest friends of Fidel Castro. During the early days of the revolution she was responsible for sending essential supplies to the rebels in the Sierra Maestra mountains.

Her family home contains many personal items and photos from the earliest days in the Sierra Maestras up until her death in 1980.
