Burial Site of Jose Marti

During our stay in Santiago de Cuba, Lance and I visited the monument to Jose Marti in the Cementerio de Santa Ifigenia located in the northern suburbs of the city. The cemetery also contains the graves of Carlos Manuel Cespedes, Tomas Estrada Palma (Cuba's first president), heroes of the attack on Moncada barracks, heroes of the Wars of Independence, as well as Emilio Barcadi.
