The single most important reason for making this trip to Cuba was to reconnect with the students and staff of Escuela de Instructores de Arts Cacique Hatuey in rural Granma Province. The school was our primary home during the Che Guevara Volunteer Brigade last summer. During our earlier stay, we became very much attached to the people of the school and the nearby city of Bayamo. On our return trip we brought many books and some computer equipment for the school. It was our small way of saying "Thank You" to the people who had so generously given us an experience that will stay in our hearts forever.
