Lance and I went
in search of La Loma de Cruz (Hill of the Cross), about 3 km north of
the city center. Nearly 500 steps lead to the top where
there is a wooden cross that was placed there in 1790. The
hilltop offers excellent viewpoints of the city of Holguin and the
surrounding countryside. |
